Step into my office and you'll be met by the smell of fresh baked cookies. It's just one of the special touches I want for my customers. Now in my 33rd year with State Farm, and hundreds of pounds of cookie dough later, my passion to protect you - using my heart of a teacher - continues.

I am married to my wonderful bride, Dawndy Mercer Plank. Yes, the former WIS TV news anchor. We enjoy spending time with friends and our three adult children, Chandler, Chase, and Camille. Many of our favorite memories as a family are made actively participating in water sports, hiking the trails in the Upstate and engaging in our church.

I have lived in SC since 1980. I graduated from Socastee High School and the College of Charleston. Growing up with a father who was a career fighter pilot in the Air Force and a mother, a career high school teacher, you'll quickly understand why I love our military and support our teachers and administrators.

It's a pleasure to serve the Midlands of SC including Richland, Lexington, Kershaw, and Fairfield counties. My experienced team and I are here to help those in the greater Columbia area make wise insurance decisions.
